Tattoo ink sits in the dermis, but how your tattoo looks depends on the skin above it. When that surface layer turns dry and flaky, it scatters light and your ink reads dull, ashy, and soft around the edges. Tattoo Care Oil conditions that top layer so light passes through smooth, hydrated skin and your colors and linework read the way your artist intended.
How It Works
First, a few drops warm between your palms and spread easily across the tattooed area. Next, lightweight grapeseed and sunflower oils absorb quickly, carrying richer companions into the skin. Then olive, avocado, rice bran, and apricot oils condition and soften, smoothing the flaky dryness that dulls ink. Meanwhile, castor oil leaves a subtle sheen that helps seal in moisture and gives your tattoo a healthy, defined look, with vitamin E and rosemary extract lending antioxidant support. Finally, lavender and citrus notes fade to a soft natural finish.
Triple-Action Ink Care System
Olive Oil (Olea Europaea)
The cornerstone of the blend and a time-honored skin conditioner. Rich in oleic acid and naturally occurring squalene, olive oil softens and deeply moisturizes tattooed skin, helping rough, dry patches smooth out so the surface over your ink stays supple and even.
Avocado Oil (Persea Americana)
A rich, cushiony oil pressed from avocado fruit, loaded with fatty acids and skin-loving nutrients. It sinks into dry, thirsty skin and keeps conditioning long after application, which makes it a favorite for older tattoos that have gone dull from everyday dryness.
Castor Oil (Ricinus Communis)
The ingredient behind the signature finish. Thick and glossy, castor oil leaves a subtle sheen on the skin that deepens blacks, enriches color, and helps seal moisture in place. It is the reason a freshly oiled tattoo looks defined instead of dry and ashy.
Grapeseed Oil (Vitis Vinifera)
One of the lightest carrier oils in skincare, grapeseed absorbs fast without a greasy trail and carries natural antioxidants of its own. It keeps the whole blend feeling comfortable for daily use, so conditioning your ink never means sticky skin or stained sleeves.
Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
A classic antioxidant that pulls double duty. On your skin it supports softness and helps defend against environmental stress; in the bottle it protects the botanical oils themselves from oxidizing, keeping the formula fresh and effective from first drop to last.
Olive (Olea Europaea) Oil, Avocado (Persea Americana) Oil, Organic Sunflower (Helianthus Annuus) Seed Oil, Rice Bran (Oryza Sativa) Oil, Apricot (Prunus Armeniaca) Kernel Oil, Grapeseed (Vitis Vinifera) Oil, Castor (Ricinus Communis) Seed Oil, Lemon (Citrus Limon) Essential Oil, Sweet Orange (Citrus Sinensis) Essential Oil, Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia) Oil, Tea Tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia) Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinalis) Extract

Does Tattoo Care Oil really make tattoos look more vibrant?
It works on the layer that determines how your ink reads: the skin above it. Dry, flaky skin scatters light and makes tattoos look dull and ashy. Tattoo Care Oil conditions and smooths that surface while castor oil adds a subtle sheen, so blacks look deeper, colors look richer, and edges look more defined.
Can I use Tattoo Care Oil on a new tattoo?
Wait until your tattoo is fully healed, with no scabbing, peeling, or tenderness. Fresh ink is healing skin, and your tattoo artist's aftercare instructions should always come first during that stage. Once the piece has settled in, Tattoo Care Oil becomes a great daily maintenance step.
How often should I use Tattoo Care Oil?
Daily use gives the best results, ideally after a shower while skin is soft. A few drops massaged into each piece keeps tattooed skin conditioned around the clock. If your tattoos see regular sun, evening application works well since the formula contains citrus oils.
Does Tattoo Care Oil prevent tattoo fading?
Honest answer: most true fading comes from sun exposure and time, which no topical oil can stop. What Tattoo Care Oil does is keep the skin over your ink smooth and hydrated so your tattoo always looks its best. Pair daily conditioning with sunscreen on exposed pieces for the strongest long-term results.
What does Tattoo Care Oil smell like?
The scent comes entirely from essential oils: bright lemon and sweet orange lifted by soft lavender, with a clean herbal edge from tea tree and rosemary. It reads fresh and natural rather than perfumed, and it fades to a skin-soft finish shortly after application.
Is Tattoo Care Oil safe for sensitive skin?
The base is a gentle blend of food-grade carrier oils with no synthetic fragrance or parabens, and one reviewer with eczema-prone skin reports using it comfortably. It does contain citrus, tea tree, and lavender essential oils, so patch test on a small area first and discontinue if sensitivity occurs.
Why does Tattoo Care Oil contain castor oil?
Castor oil is the finishing touch. Its naturally thick, glossy texture leaves a subtle sheen on the skin that deepens blacks and enriches color, the same effect that makes a freshly moisturized tattoo look so striking. It also helps seal the lighter oils in so the conditioning lasts longer.
Can Tattoo Care Oil revive old tattoos?
It can noticeably improve how older pieces look. Years of everyday dryness leave a rough surface that mutes ink underneath. Regular conditioning smooths that layer, and many long-healed tattoos read visibly richer and more defined once the skin above them is properly cared for.
Will Tattoo Care Oil make my skin greasy?
No. Lightweight grapeseed and sunflower oils lead the absorption, so the blend sinks in within a few minutes and leaves only a soft, healthy sheen. Use a few drops rather than a heavy pour, give it a moment before dressing, and your skin stays comfortable, not slick.
What makes Tattoo Care Oil special?
Time will tell on brightening the tattoo but it smells good and actually makes my skin soft and feels nice to the touch I like it !
Just like the last bottle I got, prodect great and I seen a difference as well love it
Tattoo Care Oil
Smells great, feels great on my skin and doesn’t irritate my eczema which is a huge plus for me! I used to use tattoo goo but it irritated my skin and made me super itchy sometimes. I have zero of those issues with this oil, never going back to tattoo goo. 10/10 would buy again and recommend to an artist or a friend.

Nice and thick-this will last a long time. Pure ingredients. Makes my face feel and look soft and amazing!🤩
I love how it makes my face look and feel
This is truly the best toner I have come across! It makes my skin so bright, I always get compliments after a week or so of using it. It smells lovely, and doesn't have behind a sticky residue like some others do. I literally won't use any other toner!
I have suffered for years with extremely dry legs in all seasons. Plus I have a birthmark that dries until it bleeds. Other than Vaseline petroleum jelly, nothing has helped this area. This is the first product that has kept it healthy. I do have to apply it nearly every day but my legs feel healthier and looks healthier. The smell too is heavenly. I just love this product. Please don't stop making it. Highly recommend for all ages, not just babies if you have baby sensitive skin.
