General Disclaimer

Bee Naturals products are cosmetic skincare products formulated for external topical use. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The information provided on our website, product packaging, and marketing materials is for general informational purposes only and should not be construed as medical advice.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new skincare regimen, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, or are taking medication.

Product Usage Guidelines

Introduction of New Products

We recommend introducing one new product per week into your routine. This allows your skin to adjust and makes it easier to identify the source of any reaction.

External Use Only

All Bee Naturals products are formulated for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. If a product gets into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

Patch Testing

Before first use, we recommend performing a patch test: apply a small amount of product to the inside of your wrist or behind your ear, wait 24 hours, and check for any adverse reaction before applying to a larger area.

Age Recommendations

Our products are formulated for use by individuals ages 12 and older. Children under 12 should only use Bee Naturals products under adult supervision and with the guidance of a healthcare provider.

Sun Sensitivity

Certain active ingredients (including alpha hydroxy acids, retinol, and vitamin C) may increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. When using products containing these ingredients, apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen daily and limit sun exposure.

Allergen Information

While our products are formulated without common irritants, they contain natural botanical ingredients that may cause reactions in sensitive individuals. Specifically:

  • Bee-derived ingredients — Some products contain beeswax, propolis, or royal jelly. Do not use if you have a known allergy to bee products or bee stings.
  • Botanical extracts — Products may contain essential oils and plant extracts. Review the full ingredient list if you have known plant allergies.
  • Nut-derived oils — Some formulations include sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, or other nut-derived ingredients. Consult your physician if you have a nut allergy.

Adverse Reactions

Discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional if you experience:

  • Redness, swelling, or rash at the application site
  • Persistent itching or burning
  • Blistering or peeling
  • Signs of an allergic reaction (hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat)

If you believe you have experienced an adverse reaction to one of our products, please also report it to us at support@beenaturals.com so we can assist you and document the event. Our return policy accommodates reaction-based returns.

Regulatory Status

Bee Naturals products are classified as cosmetics under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) and are manufactured in compliance with FDA guidelines for cosmetic products. Our products are:

  • Made in the USA — Formulated and manufactured in Clarksville, Missouri
  • Leaping Bunny Certified — No animal testing at any stage of product development
  • Silicone free — No silicone or silicone derivatives in any formulation
  • Paraben free — No parabens used as preservatives
  • pH-balanced — Formulated to be compatible with the skin's natural pH

While we test our products for safety and stability, they have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. As cosmetic products, they are not subject to FDA pre-market approval.

Professional Formulation

Bee Naturals was founded in 1992 by Barbara Chappuis, a registered nurse. Our formulations are developed with clinical knowledge and a commitment to evidence-based ingredient selection. However, our founder's nursing background does not constitute a physician-patient or medical advisory relationship with our customers.

Claims and Results

Product descriptions, before-and-after photographs, and customer testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not guaranteed results. The effectiveness of any skincare product varies based on skin type, environmental factors, lifestyle, and consistent use.

We do not claim that our products will produce the same results for every user. Where we reference scientific studies or clinical data about specific ingredients, we are citing published research about those ingredients — not clinical trials of our finished products.

Storage and Shelf Life

  • Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Close all containers tightly after use
  • Use products within 12 months of opening unless otherwise indicated on the packaging
  • Do not use products that have changed in colour, consistency, or smell
