Many shampoos rely on harsh synthetic detergents that strip the scalp's natural oils, leaving hair dry, brittle, and prone to breakage. Your hair needs a cleanser that removes buildup while respecting its moisture balance. This soap-based formula pairs a coconut-derived surfactant with humectants and vitamins, so washing becomes part of hair care rather than something to recover from.
How It Works
First, coconut oil soap lifts away dirt, sweat, and excess oil with a gentle, natural lather. Next, honey and glycerin draw moisture into your hair and scalp while you wash, offsetting the drying effect of cleansing. Then, Provitamin B5 penetrates the hair shaft to help strengthen each strand from within. Meanwhile, orange, lavender, and rosemary essential oils leave a light, natural scent. Finally, a thorough rinse reveals soft, balanced hair with a healthy sheen.
Triple-Action Herbal Hair System
Coconut Oil Soap
A natural surfactant made from saponified pure coconut oil. It lifts away dirt, sweat, and excess oil while leaving your hair's essential oils in place, so the scalp keeps its natural moisture balance. The result is a clean that feels fresh rather than squeaky or stripped.
Honey
A natural humectant that draws moisture into the hair and scalp as you wash. Honey helps prevent the dryness that harsh cleansers cause, leaving strands soft and conditioned. It has been a Bee Naturals signature ingredient across the line and works especially well with glycerin.
Vegetable Glycerin
A plant-derived humectant that partners with honey to pull water into the hair shaft and hold it there. This helps prevent breakage that starts with dry, brittle strands, keeping hair flexible and hydrated through the wash instead of leaving it tight or straw-like afterward.
Provitamin B5 (Panthenol)
A hair-loving form of vitamin B5 that penetrates the hair shaft to help strengthen each strand from within. With regular use it helps reduce the appearance of split ends, improves the look of resilience, and adds a healthy sheen that catches the light without any coating residue.
Essential Oil Blend
Orange, lavender, and rosemary essential oils give the shampoo its light, natural scent with no synthetic fragrance. The blend leaves hair smelling fresh and clean, with a gentle herbal-citrus character that fades softly rather than competing with your other products.

This product is perfect for cleansing and protecting:
Oily scalp and roots: Coconut oil soap removes excess oil and buildup thoroughly without triggering the rebound oiliness harsh detergents cause.
Dry, brittle lengths: Honey and glycerin draw moisture into strands during the wash, helping prevent the breakage that starts with dryness.
Split end appearance: Provitamin B5 penetrates the hair shaft to strengthen strands and reduce the appearance of split ends over time.
Fragrance-sensitive scalps: Scented only with orange, lavender, and rosemary essential oils, with no synthetic fragrance in the formula.
Detergent-weary hair: A pure liquid soap alternative for anyone moving away from sulfates and harsh synthetic cleansers.

Does Nourishing Herbal Shampoo work for oily hair?
Yes. It is best suited for normal to oily hair. Coconut oil soap cleanses excess oil and buildup thoroughly, while honey and glycerin keep the scalp hydrated, which helps avoid the rebound oiliness that stripping detergents can trigger over time.
What is the difference between Nourishing Herbal Shampoo and regular shampoo?
Most commercial shampoos use synthetic detergents such as sulfates. This formula uses a pure liquid soap made from coconut oil instead, plus honey, glycerin, and Provitamin B5. It cleanses gently, preserves natural oils, and carries only essential oil scent with no synthetic fragrance.
Can I use Nourishing Herbal Shampoo on color-treated hair?
No. This is a pure liquid soap formula and is not recommended for chemically treated hair, including colored or permed hair. Soap-based cleansers can affect processed hair differently than detergent shampoos, so choose a formula designed for treated hair instead.
Why should I follow Nourishing Herbal Shampoo with a vinegar or lemon rinse?
Soap-based shampoos can leave mineral deposits behind, especially in hard water. A final rinse of two cups of water with one tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar, or Bee Naturals Clarifying Rinse, removes those deposits and normalizes hair pH, leaving hair soft and shiny.
What are the benefits of Provitamin B5 in Nourishing Herbal Shampoo?
Provitamin B5, also called panthenol, penetrates the hair shaft rather than sitting on the surface. It helps strengthen strands from within, reduces the appearance of split ends, and adds a healthy sheen, supporting the look of resilient hair with regular use.
Is Nourishing Herbal Shampoo free of synthetic fragrance?
Yes. The scent comes entirely from orange, lavender, and rosemary essential oils, which give a light, natural herbal-citrus character. There is no synthetic fragrance in the formula, which many people with fragrance-sensitive scalps appreciate.
How often should I use Nourishing Herbal Shampoo?
Use it with each wash, as often as your hair needs. Because the coconut oil soap base is gentle and the formula includes honey and glycerin for hydration, it suits regular, frequent washing without drying out the scalp or the lengths of your hair.
Will my hair need time to adjust to Nourishing Herbal Shampoo?
Possibly. Hair accustomed to synthetic detergents sometimes takes one to two weeks to rebalance when switching to a soap-based shampoo. Using the recommended acidic rinse after each wash speeds the adjustment and keeps hair feeling soft during the transition.
Is Nourishing Herbal Shampoo cruelty-free and natural?
Yes. Bee Naturals is Leaping Bunny certified and never tests on animals, and the shampoo is made in the USA in small batches. The formula builds on naturally derived cleansers and botanicals: coconut oil soap, honey, vegetable glycerin, panthenol, and essential oils.

I love this moisturizer, it feels so great in the skin ❤️
Nice and thick-this will last a long time. Pure ingredients. Makes my face feel and look soft and amazing!🤩
I love how it makes my face look and feel
This is truly the best toner I have come across! It makes my skin so bright, I always get compliments after a week or so of using it. It smells lovely, and doesn't have behind a sticky residue like some others do. I literally won't use any other toner!
I have suffered for years with extremely dry legs in all seasons. Plus I have a birthmark that dries until it bleeds. Other than Vaseline petroleum jelly, nothing has helped this area. This is the first product that has kept it healthy. I do have to apply it nearly every day but my legs feel healthier and looks healthier. The smell too is heavenly. I just love this product. Please don't stop making it. Highly recommend for all ages, not just babies if you have baby sensitive skin.
