Weekly Treatments

The deepening — targeted treatments that go beyond the daily routine. Not for every day, but essential for results. Each one is a gift you give your skin once or twice a week.

Beyond the Daily Routine

Your daily CHM routine builds and maintains the foundation. Weekly treatments are the additions that accelerate results — deeper exfoliation, more intensive hydration, barrier-building recovery nights, and luxurious facial oil treatments that no daily product can replicate.

The key is not frequency — it's strategic scheduling. Each treatment serves a specific purpose on a specific night. Use the weekly planner below to build your personal rotation.

This is a framework, not a prescription. If you're new to exfoliation, start with 1 AHA night per week and add a second after 3–4 weeks of tolerance. If you have sensitive skin, replace AHA nights with PHA (gluconolactone) at 1× per week. Sunday barrier nights are beneficial for everyone.

The Treatment Menu

AHA/BHA Exfoliation Night · 2–3×/week PM

EOption A
Deep AHA Resurfacing
The gold standard AHA treatment. Glycolic acid — the smallest AHA molecule — penetrates deepest and delivers the most significant resurfacing results. Best for: textural irregularities, hyperpigmentation, anti-aging. Apply as the hydration step on exfoliation nights after cleansing.
2–3×/week PM · Not same night as retinol
EOption B
Combined AHA + BHA
Multiple fruit acids (AHA) + salicylic acid (BHA) work together — AHAs resurface the skin surface while BHA penetrates into pores. Best for: acne-prone, congested, combination skin types.
2–3×/week PM
EOption C
Gentle Enzymatic Exfoliation
Bacillus ferment enzymes dissolve dead skin cells without any chemical acid activity. The gentlest exfoliation option — suitable for sensitive skin types who cannot tolerate AHAs. Delivers brightening and smoothing without the acid adjustment period.
2–3×/week · Safe for sensitive skin

Facial Oil Treatment Night · 1–3×/week PM

OilOption A
Concentrated Vitamin A + Nutrient Oil
A rich blend of fat-soluble vitamins including retinyl palmitate (Vitamin A), tocopherol (Vitamin E), and carotenoids. Warm 3–4 drops between palms, then press gently into skin after your serum — or use as a final occlusive treatment. Best for very dry, mature, or dull skin.
1–3×/week PM · After serum, before or instead of moisturizer
OilOption B
Luxury Concentrated Facial Serum-Oil
A luxurious concentrated oil serum with exceptional skin compatibility. Squalane, rosehip, argan, and sea buckthorn work together for deep nourishment, radiance, and anti-aging benefit. Use as the final step — a few drops pressed into the face and neck.
1–3×/week PM

Eye Intensive Treatment · 1×/week

Eye1×/wk
Overnight Eye Balm Treatment
The Eye Balm is 100% water-free — a pure conditioning and occlusive treatment. Apply a generous amount around the entire orbital area (under-eye, lid, crow's feet) as the last step of your PM routine, once a week. The absence of water means no preservatives needed — this is the purest eye treatment in the range.
Once per week PM as an intensive treatment

Barrier Recovery Night · 1×/week (Sunday)

CBarrier
Full Restore System — Barrier Boost
Once a week — typically Sunday — run the complete 3-step Restore System instead of your regular evening routine. This "barrier reset" replenishes the ceramides, beta glucan, and CoQ-10 depleted by the week's exfoliation and active treatments. Even healthy skin benefits from a weekly barrier recovery night.
Once per week — ideal on Sunday

Mask Night · 1×/week

Masking — Coming to the Protocol

Masks are a powerful weekly intensification step. Clay masks for pore clarification, hydrating masks for deep moisture infusion, and overnight sleeping masks as occlusive treatments. Bee Naturals' masking options will be featured here as they become available. In the meantime, pair your exfoliation night with your serum as a "treatment double" for similar intensification.

Skin Cycling

"Skin cycling" describes the practice of rotating your active treatments deliberately to match your skin's natural renewal cycle — giving it dedicated exfoliation nights, active treatment nights, and recovery nights rather than using everything every day.

The Science Behind the Rotation

Your skin's turnover cycle is approximately 28 days. Within each cycle, dedicated exfoliation + treatment nights and dedicated recovery nights work synergistically: exfoliation improves penetration of actives; recovery nights rebuild the barrier that exfoliation mildly disrupts. The cycle as a whole produces better results than any single approach used every night.
