Calendula
Also known as: Calendula officinalis Flower Extract
A yellow and orange flower native to the Mediterranean. Calendula is part of the Asteraceae (or Compositae) family, along with chamomile, chrysanthemums, dahlias, and marigolds. Calendula extract is antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory, and has antioxidant properties. It is gentle enough for dry and sensitive skin types and helps moisturize, soothe, and calm irritation from various skin conditions.
