Also known as: Ricinus Communis Oil

An oil extracted from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. Castor oil is a thick, heavy oil that has a wide variety of uses for skin and hair and has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and moisturizing properties. It has been reported to increase hair growth and can help soothe irritation from skin conditions such as psoriasis, and eczema. It is rich in ricinoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid.
